LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Riding an eight-game winning streak, the UIndy softball team climbed up to No. 5 in this week's NFCA Division II Coaches Poll, released Tuesday. The ranking matched the Greyhounds' highest position in the weekly poll since May 2016.

UIndy remains the lone GLVC team in the top 25. Unbeaten UT Tyler received all 16 first-place votes as the unanimous No. 1.
