GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, was released Tuesday. The annual list recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. Five Greyhounds earned inclusion among the Division II honorees, including Shelby Cook, Cara Cooper, Cheyenne Eads, Maya Rodriguez and Brooklyn Willis. Cook and Cooper are repeat winners of the award, while the other three are first timers.
 
The CSC Academic All-America® Teams will be voted on and released next month, with first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees scheduled to drop on June 16.
