LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The UIndy softball team earned a lofty No. 9 ranking in the year's final National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Poll, released Tuesday. The Greyhounds piled up a DII-best 59 wins this spring, earning a GLVC regular season title and a Midwest Super Region appearance along the way.
 
Tuesday's announcement marks the Hounds' third top-10 ranking in the final coaches poll in the last four seasons. UIndy appeared in the NFCA poll throughout the 2026 season, including a No. 2 ranking in each of the final three weeks of the regular season.
