NORFOLK, Va.—The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Associations of America (CSCAA) announced its Division II award postseason awards this week, with UIndy's Dave McKown earning Men's Diving Coach of the Year accolades for the second straight season.
 
The UIndy diving program has reached new heights under McKown's tutelage. At the recently-completed 2022 NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships, the Greyhound men peppered the diving podiums with three All-America performances on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards. The Hounds went 1-2-3 on the 1-meter, highlighted by a national championship by Cade Hammond – UIndy's first-ever diving event title.
 
All told, McKown has mentored 11 divers to a total of 43 All-America First Team or Honorable Mention accolades in his time at UIndy.
