INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's tennis team earned its 11
th win of the season over GLVC foe, Lewis, on Saturday afternoon in the UIndy Tennis Center.
In doubles, the No. 9 nationally ranked duo
Zac Faveri and
Tom Zeuch took a 7-6 win, while
Yoann Viel and
Edgar Destouet took a 6-1 win.
Pedro Franca and
Jason Gerweck won 6-2.
In singles,
Edgar Destouet took a win in the No. 1 spot with a 6-2, 6-7 match.
Tom Zeuch won 6-1, 6-2 while
Yoann Viel took a 6-3, 6-1 win. Faveri and
Jason Gerweck both took a pair of seat gripping matches with Faveri winning 4-6,7-6, 10-8. Gerweck won 6-2, 3-6, and 6-10.
Pedro Franca also took a single with 6-2, 6-0.
