GAME 1 | Davenport 12, UIndy 10
The Panthers clawed out ahead with lone runs in the first and second innings before UIndy answered with a pair in the third to tie the game. Despite this, Davenport regained the advantage in the bottom half of that inning on an RBI single that scored two.

UIndy chipped away at the deficit in the fifth with a Drew Donaldson RBI single, but DU crossed three more in the bottom half of that inning to maintain control.

The Greyhounds added lone runs in the sixth and seventh innings before finally regaining the lead in the eighth after an Alex Vela RBI double, Denton Shepler RBI single, and Donaldson RBI single filled the scorebook. However, Davenport took the lead back in the bottom half of that inning and never lost it despite UIndy putting up a fight in the ninth.
