COLUMBUS, Ohio – The University of Indianapolis baseball team concluded its non-conference portion of the schedule on Tuesday afternoon by dropping a pair of games in a doubleheader against Ohio Dominican. With the two losses, the Greyhounds now sit at 19-22 overall on the season.

GAME 1 | ODU 13, UIndy 3 (7 innings)
Despite the Panthers taking an early two run lead in the opening frame, UIndy answered with two runs of its own in the next half inning on RBIs from
Armen Torosian and
Jared Bujdos to tie the game. However, an explosive fourth inning by ODU which saw the team cross five runs proved to play a key role in the final result of the game. The Panthers went on to secure the win in seven innings thanks to a big sixth inning of four runs.

A defensive stalemate headlined action in game two in Columbus. The Panthers took a two run lead after the first inning and held it until the third, which saw
Dom Brown tally an RBI and a run for UIndy. Neither team could get anything rolling on offense after.

Mike MacDougall had a quality outing as the starting pitcher in five complete innings of work. He allowed just five hits and two earned runs on no walks given up alongside his season-high of eight strikeouts.
Justyn Eichbaum tossed one complete inning of work while notching two Ks.
