INDIANAPOLIS—The No. 5 UIndy softball team made it four wins in four games on the weekend, sweeping a Sunday home doubleheader versus Truman State University Sunday. After
sweeping William Jewell yesterday, the Greyhounds took down the Bulldogs by scores of 9-0 and 15-1, both in five innings.

Kenzee Smith, the Hounds broke it open with a six-spot in the third inning.
Lexy Rees and
Emily O'Connor started the rally with a single and a walk, respectively, before
Dominique Proctor started the merry-go-round with a two-run double to deep center. The Hounds sprinkled in two more walks in the inning, while Perry and Stout added RBI singles.
Â
Smith improved to 14-3 after allowing just two hits and striking out five in four scoreless innings. Freshman
Jayden Casebolt came on to pitch the fifth in her first career appearance at Baumgartner Field. The Newburgh, Ind., native notched a strikeout and allowed one hit in an otherwise-uneventful outing.

Jocelyn Calvin added an RBI single and O'Connor a base-empty double.
Â

Haylie Foster (14-1) getting the win by blanking the 'Dogs for the minimum three innings.
