INDIANAPOLIS - The time has finally arrived for the University of Indianapolis baseball team to take its talents to St. Charles, Missouri for the 2022 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championship Tournament. Action is slated to begin on Thursday and could run through Sunday if necessary.

WHO THEY PLAY
The Greyhounds, who finished the 2022 regular season with a record of 20-29 (11-13 GLVC) earned the No. 4 seed out of the Blue Division and are set to battle Drury (36-14, 21-7 GLVC), the No. 1 seed out of the Green Division at 8:30 p.m. ET. The two programs haven't played since 2019, which saw UIndy take two of three from Drury in Springfield, Mo.

A LOOK AT DRURY
The Panthers are set to bring one of the best offenses in the conference to the field on Thursday, as the squad leads the GLVC in several different statistical categories which include but are not limited to: team batting average (.350), slugging percentage (.590), on base percentage (.450), runs scored (486), and hits (575). Drury has also been winners of seven of the last eight games.
