INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy volleyball team (7-6, 0-2 GLVC) suffered another setback on Friday evening, falling in straight sets to No. 15 Lewis (11-4, 3-0 GLVC) in the its league home opener inside Ruth Lilly Fitness Center.

The Greyhounds nearly snagged the third set, with 11 ties and four lead changes pacing the competition on Friday.
Gillian Santana scooped up six of her 10 digs in the final frame, while four Greyhounds tallied two kills apiece.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lewis controlled the first two sets, attacking at a .235 clip compared to UIndy's .014 mark. The Flyers also recorded nine of their 10 service aces in that span, while totaling seven of their 11 blocks to pull away from the Greyhounds.

Lauren Cullison performed well on the attack, leading the team with seven kills on the night.
Hannah Huppenbauer, playing in her first home match of the season, also added three kills on six attempts for UIndy.

Defensively, libero
MaKenna Barnhart tallied 15 digs to join Santana in double figures.
Hannah Sabotin totaled a pair of blocks, while adding five kills.

- Barnhart collected seven of her team-high 15 scoops in the second set, jumping into fourth in the program's record book.
