WACO, Texas—Coming off an impressive season-opening win, the UIndy football team elbowed its way into the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, released Tuesday. After receiving votes in the preseason edition, the Greyhounds earned the No. 25 spot this week to earn their first poll appearance since last September.

The Hounds earned their top-25 designation after dismantling the NAIA's No. 11 team, Saint Xavier, over last Saturday. UIndy lit up the scoreboard in the shutout win, routing the visiting Cougars,
57-0.
UP NEXT
The Greyhounds have a bye week on tap before heading to Tiffin University for a clash with the Dragons on Saturday, Sept. 17.
