The Don Hansen team carries out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at age 75 on Aug. 29, 2010. Hansen, from Brookfield, Ill., started and published
Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for three decades, selecting NCAA Division II All-America teams for the first time in 1988.
Don Hansen's Football Gazette began selecting Division II All-Region squads in 2003.
 Â
Clinton wrapped up one of the greatest careers ever by a Greyhound football player this fall. The Chicago native rewrote the UIndy record book in his time on campus, surpassing nearly all the school's career and season rushing marks. He held the title of DII's active career rushing leader throughout the 2022 campaign while notching his second straight 1,000-yard season in despite playing in only eight games.
Â
Opening holes for Clinton at left guard was Alexis. The two-time All-GLVC First Team honoree picked up his first career All-America award after helping UIndy to a conference championship and playoff berth. He was part of a unit that ranked highly in DII in several offensive categories, including top-20 spots in both scoring offense and rushing offense. The Indy native and Lawrence North grad is also an Academic All-District® honoree is on track for a fourth-straight Academic All-GLVC nod.
