INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 5 UIndy men's basketball team suffered another heartbreaking defeat at home on Saturday afternoon, falling to in-region Lake Superior State, 64-62, from inside Nicoson Hall.

For the second straight night, the Greyhounds had the final possession after
David Ejah secured a rebound off a missed front end of a 1-and-1 from the Lakers. Tough defense prevented UIndy from getting a shot off before the buzzer.

The Hounds came out with fire to open the second half, with Ejah drilling a 3-pointer from the corner after a dime pass from
Kendrick Tchoua.

Paul Zilinskas entered the chat after the break, sinking a pair of free throws to knot the game at 45 apiece after a driving layup gave the Greyhounds their first lead in more than seven minutes just moments prior.
Both defenses stepped up their game in the final eight minutes.
Jarvis Walker hit his only triple of the contest at the 8:09 mark, giving UIndy a three-point advantage. However, the Lakers iced the game away while limiting the Greyhounds to just four points down the stretch.

- Ejah and Zilinskas both finished with a team-best 11 points, while
Jesse Bingham joined Walker with 10 in the scoring column.

Julian Steinfeld contributed five rebounds, three points, and two blocks in more than 13 minutes off the bench.
