INDIANAPOLIS – Head Coach
Marc Mitchell earned his 250th career win with the UIndy women's basketball team's 72-61 win over Missouri S&T on Monday evening. The victory marked the Greyhound's fourth straight, all by double digits.
Patricia Chikamba notched her second double-double in a row with career highs of 22 points and 17 rebounds. Chikamba was also perfect from the free throw line, shooting 6-for-6.
INS & OUTS
UIndy took control of the game during the third quarter. After trailing by six at half, the Greyhounds out-performed S&T the third quarter, scoring 21 points while holding the Miners to just 11. The Hounds scored the first six points of the half and later followed with an even more impressive run late in the period, outscoring the visiting 14-2 in one stretch.
The Greyhounds continued their push in the fourth quarter, with
Jodi Mullins contributing 13 points of the teams' 25 in the final period.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Chikamba had the most rebounds by a Greyhound in a 20-point game since Mickey Sasson's 20/18 performance on Feb. 4, 2021.

Liv Becker made it three Hounds in double figures with 11 points.

- The Greyhounds had a total of 55 rebounds during the contest, 12 from Ortiz.

UIndy will host Southwest Baptist and 17th-ranked Drury on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Friday's contest will begin at 5 p.m. and Saturday's at 12:30, both contests will take place in Nicoson Hall.
