INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy women's basketball team lost 62-77 to Lewis on Saturday. The Greyhounds are now 5-5 on the season and 3-2 in GLVC play going into the semester break.

Liv Becker was the point leader for the Hounds. Becker had 16 points at the end of the game. The junior was 6-of-13 from the field and 2-for-5 beyond the arc.

The Greyhounds opened the fourth quarter with an 11-3 run.
Liv Becker contributed five points and
Idalis Ortiz had four. The quarter continued with the Hounds pressing the Flyers to try and cut their lead. The 25-point lead that Lewis had before the start of the final quarter was too much for UIndy to pass.

Lewis quickly took over the court at the start of the contest. The Flyers opened the game with a 19-3 run for 7:34 in the first quarter.

Elana Wells finished 14 points and a team-high of four assists on the day.

Jada Patton led UIndy in rebounds with six. Patricia Chiakamba and
Idalis Ortiz were not far behind with five each.
- The Greyhounds were able to take advantage during Flyer possessions by forcing 18 Lewis turnovers.
- The Hounds struggled from 3-point range, the team finished 5-of-18.

Lewis's Taylor Gugliuzza finished the contest with a double-double. Gugliuzza had 13 rebounds and 14 points during the game... Lewis continues to lead 6-37 in the all-time series against UIndy.
