INDIANAPOLIS – Edgar Destouet is your 2023 men's tennis player of the year as the No. 5-ranked Greyhounds brought in four All-GLVC First Team honors for the 2023 season. Destouet's honor comes just a year after being named GLVC Freshman of the Year in 2022.
 
Destouet went a staggering 15-3 over the season out of the top singles spot for the Hounds, going a clean 5-0 in GLVC action, reaching as high as No. 6 in the ITA rankings. Outside of singles, he was a weapon for the No. 1-ranked doubles pairing of Destouet and Tom Zeuch, the reining fall ITA Cup champions. This is the seventh GLVC Player of the Year honor for the Greyhounds, the last being Nils Hoffacker in 2018.
 
Joining Destouet, Louis Picaud, Nikolaj Talimaa and Zeuch were selected to the All-GLVC first team. Talimaa was also selected as the 2023 GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Honoree.
