INDIANAPOLIS – No. 10-ranked University of Indianapolis women's tennis is starting it return to the NCAA National Championship tournament on Tuesday after earning their fourth-straight
GLVC Championship. The Hounds are once again touted at the No. 1-seed in the bracket, earning a first round bye. The Hounds will face the winner of Drury, the team they defeated for the GLVC title, and the Findlay Oilers.

The regional site is going to be Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Ind., with admittance being free of charge. The Hounds' match is going to begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, with the match between the Drury Panthers and the Findlay Oilers taking place the day before on Monday May 1 at 10 a.m. In the event of unfavorable weather, the tournament will be moved inside to the UIndy Tennis Center, updates will be posted to twitter via @UIndyAthletics.

Last year at the regional, the Hounds saw a similar story to what they face this year, seeing only one match in the regional. They faced Wayne State in a match the Hounds would win 4-0, advancing them to the sweet 16 in Almonte Springs, Fla. There they would advance past No. 45 Wilmington, No. 6 Columbus and eventually fall in NCAA semifinals to the University of Central Oklahoma.
