INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's soccer team completed their home-opener Friday with a 1-0 win against Rockhurst University.

The Greyhounds and the Hawks started the match with an offensive battle between the two teams. Both teams got off a few shots but did not make it passed the goal line. Almost 40 minutes into the game
Carl Ringstrom tapped one in with the help of
Kabiru Gafar.
The defensive unit of the Hounds showed out in the second period. They only allowed one shot in the last 45 minutes of play, with solid play coming from the back trio of
Niklas Thanhofer,
Bobby Turner, and
Pierre Lurot.
