KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The UIndy women's basketball team lost to Rockhurst, 78-66, on Thursday night. The Greyhounds are now .500 on the season with a record of 7-7 and 5-5 in GLVC play.

Jada Patton finished the game with 22 points. Coming off the bench, Patton was 9-for-15 overall from the field, with no 3-point attempts, and 4-5 from the charity strip. This is the sophomore's highest-scoring game of her career.

UIndy took over the court in the fourth quarter. The Greyhounds went on a 16-0 run for 5:28. Patton was the leading scorer of the run with six points. During the run, the Hounds cut the Rockhurst lead from 28 to 12.

The 29-point lead created by the Hawks in the first half was too much for the Greyhounds to overcome.

- The UIndy bench contributed 43 points, including 16 from
Jodi Mullins.
- Patton also led the team in rebounds with six. The Hounds finished with 36 overall.

Caroline Jakaitis finished with three of the four UIndy blocks.
- The Greyhounds struggled to maintain possession of the ball. They finished the game with 23 turnovers leading to 19 points for Rockhurst.

Macie Conway was the leading scorer for Rockhurst with 21 points, She was 7-fo-15 from the field and 4-of-7 beyond the arc. ... UIndy continues to lead Rockhurst 13-6 in the all-time series.
