INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis senior Brynhildur Traustadottir and junior Julio Osuna have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Athletes of the Week in women's and men's swimming and diving, respectively, it was announced by the league office Thursday. 

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Brynhildur Traustadottir, #5 Indianapolis

Major: Data Science
Team Results: 216-74 W vs. Cleveland State, 195-103 W at Denison (1/6)

• Finished first in 200 LC Freestyle (2:10.51) and 400 LC Free (4:34.53)
• Swam 1:00.07 split to anchor runner-up 400 LC Free Relay team
• Earns first career Athlete of the Week Award
• Last Greyhounds' Athlete of the Week: Stefanie Markwardt (12/20/23)

 
MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Julio Osuna, #3 Indianapolis
Jr. | Diving | Tijuana, Mexico
Major: Industrial & Systems Engineering
Team Results: 222-74 W vs. Cleveland State, 218-80 W at Denison (1/6)

• Completed six dives to first in 3-meter diving with a score of 306.65
• Earns first career Athlete of the Week Award
• Last Greyhounds' Athlete of the Week: Cedric Buessing (12/6/23)
