INDIANAPOLIS - UIndy women's basketball defeated Missouri-St. Louis, 72-67, in a second-half comeback. Now on a two-game win streak, the Greyhounds are 9-7 on the season and 5-3 in GLVC play.

Patricia Chikamba had her third double-double of the season. Chikamba finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Hounds in both categories. The sophomore's last double-double was at home against Missouri S&T on Nov. 27.

UIndy cut UMSL's nine-point halftime lead in the fourth quarter. The team opened the final 10 minutes with a 14-4 run with
Liv Becker hitting back-to-back 3s in the stretch. The timely spurt gave the Greyhounds the lead for the first time since the opening basket.
Now with the momentum, UIndy led the rest of the way, aided by four made free throws in the final 20 seconds. Â Â

The Greyhounds came out in the second half energized and ready to take over the court. Two separate runs in the third helped set up the fourth-quarter comeback.

INSIDE THE BOX
- Becker was key player on the floor for the Hounds. The junior finished with 11 points and went 3-for-4 from 3-point territory.
Elana Wells also finished in double digits; she had 15 points.
- The UIndy bench had another significant night, contributing 41 of the 72 Greyhound points.
- The Greyhounds kept control of the ball, only turning it over 10 times compared to the Tritons' 18.

With the win, UIndy continues to lead Missouri-St. Louis, 25-14, in the all-time series ... Jalysa Stokes was the top scorer for the Tritons, contributing a game-high 18 points while going 7-of-14 from the field.
