ROLLA, Mo. - The UIndy women's basketball team earned a thrilling comeback win at Missouri S&T Thursday night. The Greyhounds overcame a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter, capped by a last-second put back by
Jada Haines to give them a 71-70 victory.
Liv Becker was the leading scorer for the Hounds, finishing 16 points on 7-for-13 shooting.
Jada Patton added 15 points and six rebounds.
INS & OUTS
The Hounds found themselves down 17 points left just eight minutes to go. UIndy went on a tear from that point, ripping off a game-changing 21-2 run. The Greyhounds held their hosts without a field goal for over five minutes of game time, witha Becker 3-pointer giving the Hounds their first lead of the night at 68-66 with 2:28 to go.
The teams traded leads down the stretch until Haines' buzzer-beater with 0.5 seconds left secured the victory.
INSIDE THE BOX
- Haines finished with 10 points in only seven minutes of play, including six in the fourth quarter.

Patricia Chikamba was a key player near the hoop, finishing with a team-high 12 rebounds. The team finished with 41 rebounds compared to S&T's 36.

Ilani Williams-Harris recorded three steals, part of 19 turnovers for the Miners.

Katelynne Roberts finished with 19 points for the Miners. Roberts also led the team in blocks (two) and rebounds (nine). ... UIndy swept the season series versus S&T, having won the home matchup back in November,
