ST. LOUIS - The UIndy women's basketball team fell to Missouri-St. Louis, 58-56, on Thursday night. The Greyhounds are now 13-14, and 10-11 in conference play going into the final game of the season.

Jada Patton notched her fourth double-double of the season. Patton scored 19 points, 16 of which were in the second half. Near the rim, the sophomore picked up 11 boards.

The Hounds were down seven points going into the final 20 minutes. UIndy was able to go on an 8-0 run near the end of the third to cut the lead to two. Although UMSL was able to fight back with a buzzer-beater three to end the quarter.

Both teams started the fourth quarter trading points. A short 7-2 lead with less than three minutes left, allowed the Greyhounds to close in on the Tritons. A foul committed by UMSL with 25 seconds brought Patton to the line to tie the game at 56-56. Unfortunately for the Hounds, a buzzer-beater jumper by the Tritons ended the game in favor of the home team.

Jada Haines was the other Greyhound to finish in double points. Haines finished with 10 points.

Caroline Jakaitis was a key player on defense finishing the game with three out of four UIndy blocks.
- The Greyhounds were to grab 39 rebounds during the game and held the Tritons to 37.
- From beyond the arc, the Hounds shot 6-for-15 (40.0 percent). Four Greyhounds were able to sink a three-pointer.

Alex Wolff was UMSL's top scorer during the contest with 12 points in 16 minutes. Mara Rieder also had a successful day on the court. Rieder scored 11 points and had seven blocks. ... UIndy continues to lead UMSL, 25-11.
