PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. - The UIndy men's golf team competed in the Pawley's Island Beach Bash on Wednesday and Thursday placing fifth in the team standings. The Greyhounds finished +25 (303-298).

The tournament included 15 competing teams and 101 student-athletes. Host school Wayne State won the team competition at +12.

Cameron Young was the sole Greyhound to finish under par. The sophomore was -1 (72-71), with the help of six birdies compared to five bogies. With this score, Young placed fourth and was named to the all-tournament team.

Alexander Nestun placed 11th at the tournament at +5 (75-74). Nestun also grabbed six birdies in the 36-hole tournament.
Jackson Watkins finished +9 (80-73) and earned a share of 22nd.

Joseph Armfield,
Drew Rowen and
Caleb Michaels rounded out the Greyhounds lineup. Rowen placed t-40th finishing at +14 (77-81). Armfield (+18, 82-80) and Michaels (+19, 79-84) finished back-to-back at t-51st and t-55th, respectively.

Justin Repovs competed as an individual at the event. Repovs finished +20 (80-84) and tied for 59th.

The Hounds return the links on Monday, Mar. 24th at the Tennessee River Rumble. Hosted by Lincoln Memorial, competition is slated to take place in Knoxville, Tenn. at the WindRiver Golf Club.
