SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The UIndy baseball team's series finale at Illinois Springfield was canceled due to weather on Sunday. Due to GLVC rules, the game will not be made up.

The cancelation officially gives the Greyhounds the series win after their doubleheader sweep on Saturday. Dawson Gabe struck out eight in his complete-game win in the day's opener, before Bennet Rogers blanked UIS over six innings in the nightcap. Cole Hampton drove in five runs on the day, including a dinger in game one.

UIndy continues GLVC road action next weekend at Maryville. First pitch from St. Louis is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET on Friday.
