ST. LOUIS – Redshirt junior outfielder, Austin Bode, earned another All-Region award for his stellar 2025 season, this time collecting the honors of first team on the D2CCA All-Midwest Region team.

Bode has been slashing the ball at will all season, as he continues to lead the Greyhounds in multiple hitting categories including; batting average (.397), doubles (23), hits (79), runs (54), and total bases (133). He also still ranks top five in all other statistical hitting categories in 53 games played in his first season with UIndy.

Along with his stellar individual numbers, he also held a 22 game hit streak, a four game multi-hit game streak, and two RBI streaks of four games, as well as an ongoing 37 game on base streak.

All 16 first-team All-Region selections, including Bode will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America Consideration. The All-America teams are scheduled to be released on Wednesday, May 28.

The Greyhounds squad advanced out of this past weekend's Midwest Regional with three wins, including two upset wins over the No. 1 seed Davenport Panthers. UIndy is now set for a winner take all series against No. 6 seed Northwood in the Midwest Super Regional, with a spot to Cary, N.C. on the line.
