Football Hosts Nationally-Ranked Ashland In Home Opener Saturday

GAME 3
vs.
 #20 Ashland Eagles (1-0)
Youth Day at Key Stadium
Saturday // September 13 // 2 p.m.

For the second straight week, the Greyhounds face off against a former GLIAC rival as No. 20 Ashland University comes to town for the 2025 home opener. The gameday theme Saturday is Youth Day, with all children 12 and under with a ticketed adult admitted free. The pups can also enjoy the new Greyhounds Kids Corner, presented by Hall Family Dentistry.

Like UIndy, Ashland was a charter member of the GLVC. The Eagles competed in the league from 1978 through 1994 before moving to the GLIAC in 1995 and later the G-MAC ahead of the 2020-21 academic year. In a series that started in 1954, the teams have faced off a total of 34 times, with Ashland owning a 21-13 advantage. UIndy has won the previous two meetings, however, including a 24-9 road win in the 2019 season opener—Chris Keevers' first game as the Greyhound head coach.
