INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy women's soccer team looks to start a new season on a high note when they travel this Sunday to take on Ferris State at 1 p.m., in a
rematch from 2024.
The Greyhounds enter this season
selected to finish sixth in the GLVC preseason coaches poll after an 8-9-1 overall record, and a 7-6-1 conference record.
UIndy enters this season with a handful of fresh faces that include seven incoming freshman and three transfers. Two of the three transfers,
Izzie Wallace (Xavier) and
Samaya Hogg (SIUE) both arrive from NCAA Division I programs, and will provide great experience to the Hounds veteran returnees from last season.
Beheler also added two new assistant coaches to the staff for the 2025 season, Brandon Butler and Sarah Doyle.
Along with the 10 new additions, Beheler and company also returns seven starters from last season.
Antiya Sidibe and
Mia Winters are among those returning for the 2025 season, both of which were the top two leading goal and points scorers for the Hounds in 2024. The team also returns three of the four from last season's back line; Nicole Shroeder,
Rochelle Maxson, and
Zy'Aire Parker, all who logged 1400 plus minutes in 2024.
