After a mini bye week for UIndy, the Greyhounds return to Nicoson Hall to face off against Lewis, who just recently clinched its spot in the 2025-26 GLVC Women's Basketball tournament field. The last time the Greyhounds and Flyers met was earlier this season in Romeoville, Ill. when Lewis held UIndy to a season low 37 points. 

Patricia Chikamba had a stellar weekend just a week ago, eclipsing 1,000 points for her career against McKendree, and combining for 35 points over two contests with nine rebounds and four assists against the Bearcats and Prairie Stars.

The Flyers boast a 15-9 record under the helm of first year coach Dodie Dunson Jr., after a 26-4 campaign in 2024-25. Lewis was tabbed third in the GLVC Preseason Coaches' Poll, receiving four first-place votes, and come the end of the regular season are positioned inside the projected GLVC Tournament field as of today's contest.

Lewis has one of the best defensive units in the GLVC, ranking third with 59.8 points allowed per game, including holding UIndy to 37 points in the two sides' first contest with each other earlier this season. On the other side of the ball, Mallory Ramage paces the way with 15.5 points per game which ranks fourth in the conference.
