Greyhounds Walk It Off In Extras Against Washburn

SPRINGFIELD, MO. — UIndy edged Washburn, 4-3, after a 12-inning pitchers dual at Mark Worley Field on Sunday. UIndy secured the win with a decisive run in the 12th inning on a bases loaded walk after two runs in the seventh and eighth innings sent the game to extras.

Tran demonstrated control, issuing just one walk and throwing 47 strikes out of 70 pitches. Griffin Hallahan provided effective relief, securing the win with five innings of scoreless baseball, allowing no hits, and recording one strikeout.
