The UIndy Athletics made a key investment in Teamworks for the 2026-27 academic year. In a massive operational leap, UIndy upgraded to the Elite package, integrating Teamworks Hub across the department, helping staff and student-athletes manage time, travel, compliance, and communication across multiple sports.

Transitioning to Teamworks Hub shifts the UIndy Athletics department onto a unified operating system, moving away from fragmented communication methods like scattered texts, group chats, and siloed software into one centralized command center.

"We are thrilled to provide this upgrade to our student-athletes, coaches, and support staff," said Deputy A.D. for Internal Operations Andrew Stafford. "With all that our student-athletes manage day-to-day, the opportunity to align their resources with that of the highest collegiate and pro teams was a must. Teamworks Hub elevates our foundation to match the best-in-class experience our programs are known for."

For the student-athletes, unifying team communications, compliance needs, departmental updates, and daily tasks into one mobile front door is paramount. Providing one location for class schedules, treatment times, practice schedules, tutor requests, and travel itineraries replaces confusion with organization. Every student-athlete now has all the access and answers right in their pocket.

From a coach and admin lens, the upgrade frees up limited staff resources by structuring manual tasks and putting team logistics in one framework. Teamworks acts as a digital operations director, allowing staff to instantly update itineraries and send real-time push notifications to the whole team when plans change. Staff in sports medicine, strength & conditioning, academic support, and compliance can see team and athlete availability to provide support and care swiftly.
