INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy women's soccer team, was voted to finish eleventh in the 2026 GLVC women's soccer preseason coaches' poll, the league office announced on Wednesday.
The preseason poll is selected by the league's head coaches, who, per GLVC Bylaws, are not permitted to vote for their own team.
The Greyhounds enter 2026 as a new look team in Nick Smith's first year as head coach with 16 new players, including 11 freshman and five transfers. To pair with the 16 new additions, the Greyhounds return five players who played over 1,000 minutes in the 2025 season.
UIndy will kick off their season on the road on Aug. 29 against Ohio Dominican, a rematch from 2024 which the Greyhounds won 2-1.
