2008:  Played in 36 matches and 106 sets as a freshman…averaged nearly a dig per set with a total of 98 scoops on the year…notched a season-high nine digs vs. Northwood at the GLVC/GLIAC Crossover (10/18)…compiled three kills and two digs at KWC (11/8)…had a kill, an assist and five digs in the Hounds’ NCAA tournament lost to third-ranked Grand Valley State (11/22)…garnered Academic All-GLVC honors.

High School:  Garnered eight varsity letters in volleyball (4), basketball (3) and track (1)…finished prep volleyball career with over 1,100 kills…three-time Indianapolis Star All-Metro East performer…four times named all-city by Marion County Coaches of Girls Sports Association (MCCGSA)…participated in the Indiana All-Star Game after garnering a First Team All-State nod as a senior…ranked in the top 35 in the state in kills per game and aces per game in final season…played club volleyball for the Indiana Volleyball Academy U-18s Gold York team…earned the basketball team's Hustle Award as a junior before collecting All-City Honorable Mention as a senior.

Personal:  Studying Elementary Education…graduated from local Scecina Memorial High School with high honors as a member of the National Honor Society…was also a Student Ambassador and recipient of the President's Academic Excellence Award…daughter of Tim and Letsy McCarthy…born 3/22/90.
