Started all 11 games a linebacker...also held down long snapper duties...set a new career high with 59 total tackles, good for fifth on the squad...had at least eight stops in each of the last four games...notched a pass break-up and a quarterback hurry vs. Kentucky Wesleyan (9/1)...recorded nine tackles -- 1.5 for a loss -- at Ferris State (10/29).

2010
Credited with 10 starts at strong-side linbacker...tied for fifth on the team with 51 total tackles, including two sacks and four tackles for loss...recorded a season-high 11 tackles -- two a for loss and one sack -- against Ferris State (10/30)...earned first collegiate interception with a big forth-quarter pick in the win over Ashland (9/11)...recorded a fumble at Grand Valley (9/18) and forced one versus Ferris St. (10/30).

2009
Started at linebacker in all 11 games in his freshman campaign ... made his debut with a season-high eight total tackles against Kentucky Wesleyan (8/27) … tied for seventh on the team in total tackles with 45 … recorded a pass break-up against Hillsdale (9/19) … tied for fourth in tackles for loss on the team with 4.5 on the season, including 1.5 coming against Tiffin (10/24).

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned six letters at Roncalli, three each in football and basketball...named all-state as a junior...played on Roncalli's 2005 Class 4A state runner-up team, compiling five tackles in the Rebels' 28-27 state-final loss to Lowell (11/26/05).
