Summary

Biography

2012-13: Finished her Greyhound career fourth in the school annals with 108 blocks • compiled a career blocked shots average of 2.5 per game, good for the highest total ever by any Greyhound, male or female.

2011-12: Played in 23 games, starting the season's first 20 until injury struck • averaged 9.3 points and a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game • shot an even 50 percent from the floor • averaged a GLVC-best 2.9 blocks per game which also ranked 11th in D-II • needed just 19 games to set a new single-season UIndy record for blocks, eventually setting the new mark at 67 • scored in double figures nine times, including a season-best 26 points vs. Northern Michigan (11/26) • racked up three double-doubles in a four-game span, capped by a 14-point, 14-rebounds effort in a rout of St. Joseph's (1/16) • named to the first-ever GLVC All-Defensive team • garnered Academic All-GLVC honors • also spent time with the UIndy track & field team in the spring • cleared 1.66m in the high jump at the 2012 GLVC outdoor championships, good for second place and All-GLVC First Team honors.

2010-11: Saw time in 30 games while starting 26 for IPFW • helped the Mastodons set school records for Division I wins (20), Summit League wins (13) and home wins (10) on the way to earning a Women's Basketball Invitational berth • averaged 7.6 points per game while ranking second on the team in rebounding (6.3 rpg), blocks (0.8 bpg) and field goal percentage (.491) • led the team with 78 offensive boards on the season • collected Summit League All-Academic Team honors for the second straight season.

2009-10: Started 21 of 30 games played as a freshman • averaged 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest while shooting an impressive 55.1 percent from the field • garnered team’s Most Improved Player Award • also named to the Summit League All-Academic Team.

High School:  Earned a total of 11 varsity letters in basketball, soccer, tennis and track & field • helped the b-ball squad to a semi-state appearance in 2008 before being named an Indiana All-Star in 2009 • two-time First Team All-Summit Athletic Conference in both basketball and soccer (goalkeeper) • sectional and regional champ in high jump as a senior; went on to finish 17th at the state meet with a jump of 5'2", tying current Greyhound teammate Kelly Walter • garnered academic all-state accoloades as a tennis player.

Personal: Psychology major • daughter of Mark and Salamatou Weinert • has an older sister named Erica • born 11/7/1990.
