Started 10 of 11 games at defensive end, missing week five due to injury … finished with 22 total tackles, including 5.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks, to go with five quarterback hurries and two pass break-ups … garnered at least one TFL in each of the final five games …. credited with three QB hurries versus McKendree (10/8) … amassed a season-high five tackles at Missouri S&T (11/5).

Garnered All-GLVC Honorable Mention from the league’s coaches … started all 12 games on the d-line …  racked up 22 total tackles, including career-best 7.5 tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks … also credited with four pass break-ups and a pair of quarterback hurries on the year … a career day with 2.5 sacks and another TFL versus Southwest Baptist (9/19) … set a personal best with six tackles at Saint Joseph’s (11/14) ... also had three stops in the playoff game at fourth-ranked Colorado State-Pueblo (11/21) … earned Academic All-GLVC accolades.

Earned a starting job at defensive end as a true freshman, starting the final eight contests … voted UIndy’s Defensive Freshman of the Year … part of a unit that ranked third in Division II in passing defense (139.5 ypg), 11th in total defense (291.5 ypg) and 13th in scoring defense (17.7 ppg) … garnered 20 total tackles, including a team-high-tying 4.5 sacks … credited with a sack in his first collegiate game, good for a two-yard loss at Saginaw Valley (9/6) … had a monster 23-yard sack-fumble in the third quarter of the Hounds’ 4OT win versus Saint Joseph’s (10/30); the Pumas would recover but were pushed out of the red zone and forced to kick a field goal.
HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterman at nearby Center Grove High School … won the state's 2013 Mr. Football positional award as the Indiana's top d-lineman … also garnered recognition on the Indiana Football Coaches Association (IFCA) Top 50 All-State Team … led Center Grove to a 23-4 record in his final two seasons and three straight semi-state appearances in the IHSAA's Class 5A tournament … compiled 27 sacks, 43 tackles for a loss and 132 total tackles in final two years as a prep.
