INDIANAPOLIS- In their final regular-season match at the Ruth Lilly Center, University of Indianapolis seniors Ashley Fallos and Beth Robbins walked off winners by leading the UIndy volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-11, 25-17 win against visiting Saint Joseph's Tuesday night. Both ladies contributed seven digs in the winning effort, with Robbins assisting on 49 of the Greyhounds' 51 kills.

Winners of three of its last four conference matches, Saint Joseph's (13-16, 6-11 GLVC) looked to improve its postseason chances Tuesday. The Pumas appeared overmatched, however, as the Greyhounds led for most of the contest, including the entire second set, to make short work of their closest conference neighbor.

The first set proved to be the most competitive as the teams stayed neck-and-neck through two thirds of the frame. The Pumas garnered a kill to make it 17-16 UIndy, but the Greyhounds surged with an 8-3 run to finish the set and take the early lead, with each of the final two points featuring a Fallos dig and a Robbins assist.

In sets two and three combined, UIndy's offense hit a blistering .460 to keep SJC on its heels. The Greyhounds finished the match with a .394 team hitting percentage, good for a season high; their highest since last season's Oct. 30 meeting with the Pumas (.413).

With Robbins guiding the offense, the UIndy hitters had a statistical field day. Cheneta Morrison (12 kills), Courtney Anglemyer (11 kills), Jessica Breeden (11 kills), and Lyndsay Callahan (11 kills) combined to hit at a gaudy .513 clip, with each of the four hitting over .400.

Callahan picked up a double-double with 13 digs, matching libero Kyleigh Turner's total, while Robbins' assist total was her largest three-set sum of the year. She also added two block assists and two aces.

UIndy (26-8, 13-4) plays its final regular match this Friday night at Kentucky Wesleyan in an 8 pm ET start. The Greyhounds have already clinched a spot in the upcoming GLVC Tournament, but the outcome could affect seeding.

Notes: Fallos' and Robbins' teams have won a total of 107 matches, the highest four-year total in program history…Fallos' career dig sum (1,289) is the third-highest total in recorded school history (1981-present)…Robbins is UIndy's career leader in assists (4,646) while her career dig total (996) is good for tenth all time.
