OWENSBORO, Ky.- In its final regular-season match of 2008, the University of Indianapolis volleyball team compiled a blistering .440 team hitting percentage and swept Kentucky Wesleyan in a 25-10, 25-10, 25-18 road win at the Woodward Center Friday night.  UIndy's offensive proficiency marked the first time this season the team hit more than .400 and is the highest figure since its Sep. 6, 2006 win at Indiana-Southeast.

All 12 of the Greyhounds that dressed saw court time, with 10 of them amassing at least two kills.  In all, the Hounds had 46 kills on 91 swings with just six errors, including zero attack errors in the final set.

Sophomore Lyndsay Callahan hit .571 with a team-high eight kills in just two sets.  She also added five digs and two blocks.  Cheneta Morrison had seven kills and two aces with a .583 hitting percentage.  Senior Beth Robbins compiled 39 assists and five digs and junior Kyleigh Turner scooped 13 digs.

UIndy finishes the 2008 regular season with a 14-4 record in the conference, good for the East Division's third seed in the upcoming GLVC Tournament.  Lewis secured hosting duties for the tourney with its win versus Bellarmine tonight, bringing the league's top eight teams to Romeoville, Ill. Nov. 14-16.  The Greyhounds face the West's number-two squad Rockhurst Friday, Nov. 14 at 5 pm.  UIndy defeated the Hawks on their home floor in a four-set match back on Oct. 11.
