LOUISVILLE, Ky.-  After sweeping a doubleheader yesterday, the University of Indianapolis baseball team picked up its first back-to-back losses since late February by falling 6-3 and 7-5 at Bellarmine Saturday.  Senior Adam Akin had three hits and three walks on the day.

GAME 1
After tying it at 1-1 in the fourth, the Knights (16-19, 6-8 GLVC) used three doubles to put up five runs in the fifth inning.

With the Hounds still down 6-1 heading into the seventh and final frame, DH Chris Saroff hit an opposite-field single to plate two, but that marked the end of the game's scoring.

UIndy starter Cory White took the loss after allowing four hits and four runs in four and a third.  Kaleb Cunningham and Akin each had two hits.

GAME 2
The Knights racked up all seven of their runs in the first three innings to chase two Greyhound pitchers, including starter Vince Saisi.

UIndy finally got on the board in the fifth when catcher Chase Kittinger cleared the fences for a three-run homer.  A double from Akin and a walk from Scott Mourey setup the blast.

Meanwhile, freshman reliever Sean Elliot had his best outing to date, pitching five scoreless innings while allowing just three hits.

Like they did in game one, the Hounds threaten in the ninth, as Danny Collier and Chris Ulrey garnered RBIs.  The rally fell short, however, as the score settled at 7-5 BU to ensure UIndy's first two-game losing streak in over a month.

The Greyhounds (19-11, 10-4) have three non-conference mid-week games coming up, starting with a doubleheader versus Urbana Tuesday.  First pitch from Greyhound Park is scheduled for noon.
