INDIANAPOLIS- The Greyhound football team will unveil a new look in 2011. UIndy will be donning black home uniforms this season, with the new unis getting their debut Sept. 1 when the Greyhounds host Kentucky Wesleyan.
"New Greyhounds, new look," Coach
Bob Bartolomeo said. "We are excited to open a new year at home with a new team look."
The team earned the new uniforms through a fundraiser last year, and thanks the entire Greyhound community for its support in their efforts. Senior
Ryan Forney and sophomore
Ben Polizzi designed the new uniforms, which will see the Greyhounds taking Kiesel Field in black instead of the customary crimson.
"As a senior class we wanted to change it up," Forney said. "There is something about the way you feel when you put on a new uniform. A little change can go a long way."
