Hannah Kelzer with eight kills hitting .727 off the bench led University of Indianapolis volleyball to victory, 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-16), over Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon at Ruth Lilly Center.

Kristina Hefferan reached 1,000 career kills with seven kills, .417 attack percentage and six digs for the Greyhounds' (8-4, 6-1 GLVC) sixth consecutive victory. Sophomore

Camille Cherry had 21 assists subbing for freshman
Meghan Binkerd (16 assists, four digs in the first set-and-a-half). Both setters helped UIndy hit .330 as a team with 42 kills spread among 11 student-athletes.
Defensively, UIndy limited the Panthers (4-11, 0-7 GLVC) to .009 attacking with 26 kills and 25 errors. UIndy had 54 digs, led by junior

The Panthers scored the first point of the match, but it was all Greyhounds from their in the opening set. UIndy built a 10-3 lead after a
Courtney Anglemyer kill, but KWC pulled within four, 12-8. A kill by
Kristina Kerrigan jump-started a 13-2 run to close out the set, 25-10, after a kill by Bruggeman.
UIndy hit .405 with 14 kills with five by Kerrigan, while the Panthers hit -.095 with seven kills and 11 errors.
Kerrigan owned the service line as UIndy opened the second set with a 12-0 run to defuse any chance of KWC splitting the first two sets.
Brittany Anglemyer closed the set with a kill, 25-15.
UIndy hit .226 with 12 kills, including four by Kelzer, while limiting KWC to .029 attacking with eight kills and seven errors.
The Greyhounds started the third up 6-0, but KWC came back to close within three, 9-6, and force a UIndy timeout. The Greyhounds responded to build an eight-point lead, 18-10, after a kill by freshman
Kimberly Trojan. UIndy kept its distance and needed one match point to win on a Bruggeman kill, 25-16.
UIndy hit .353 with 16 kills in the third set, led by Bruggeman with six kills and 15 assists by Cherry. The Panthers hit a match-high .103 with 11 kills in the final frame.
The Greyhounds take their six-match winning streak to the road next weekend when they crossover to the GLVC East at Illinois-Springfield (2-10, 1-5 GLVC) on Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. and Quincy (4-6, 2-4 GLVC) on Oct. 2 at 4 p.m.
