The No. 14 UIndy volleyball team dropped a pair of five-set matches to No. 19 West Florida (28-26, 25-23, 24-26, 22-25, 15-12) and No. 10 Hillsdale (24-26, 25-19, 16-25, 25-20, 15-7) on Friday during the UIndy Invitational.

In the nightcap against the Chargers (1-1), senior Kristina Hefferan posted a career-high 31 kills with an attack percentage of .393, while junior Kristina Kerrigan had 18 kills and career-high 19 digs for the Greyhounds (0-2). Junior Kourtney Crawford added 12 kills, while freshman Meghan Binkerd set the offense with 58 assists, eight digs, three kills and two blocks.

Defensively, junior Amy Oldenburg had 19 digs, while freshmen Courtney Roach and Kimberly Trojan chipped in with 16 and 14.

In their earlier match, the Greyhounds were led by Binkerd with a near triple-double of 48 assists, 18 digs and nine kills, while Kerrigan tallied 16 kills, 18 digs and three blocks. Hefferan hit .273 with 15 kills against the Argonauts (1-1). Defensively, Oldenburg had a career-high 23 digs and Courtney Anglemyer tied her career high with eight blocks and fellow senior Hannah Kelzer tallied seven.

The UIndy Invitational resumes at 8:30 a.m. (one hour earlier than previously scheduled) with Wheeling Jesuit (0-0) against Florida Tech (0-2), while the Greyhounds will play No. 12 Minnesota-Duluth (2-0) at 4 p.m. in Ruth Lilly Center.
