INDIANAPOLIS – Senior Mar'quone Edmonds and junior Klay Fiechter combined for 389 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns as the UIndy football team handed Central State a 45-13 blimish at Key Stadium Saturday night.  The victory was the fifth straight for the Greyhounds (5-2, 5-0 GLVC), as the Crimson and Grey remained undefeated in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

Edmonds' big game etched his name once more in the UIndy record book.  Already the school's all-time leader in receiving touchdowns, the Waukegan, Ill., native corralled career pass No. 197 in the first quarter to set a new Greyhound benchmark.

Edmonds tied the old mark – held by former UIndy-standout Cesare Manning (2000-03) – with a 47-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter.  The record breaker came on a first-down catch later in the opening period.  He went on to amass 14 catches on the night, tying the program's single-game record, also held by Manning.

Meanwhile, coming off a shutout win last week, the Greyhound defense held the Marauders scoreless for the first three quarters until the visitors finally broke through with a touchdown early in the fourth.  CSU (2-5, 2-3) managed 13 first downs on the night, including just six in the first three quarters combined.

As has been the case for the Hounds in each of its five GLVC contests this season, Saturday's game was never in doubt.  UIndy jumped out to a 21-0 lead by halftime, starting with a 47-yard touchdown pass from Chris Mills to Edmonds.  The play marked the third 40-plus-yard hook-up by the tandem this season.

Mills went 21-for-29 for 281 yards and four touchdowns, with three going to Edmonds.

When Mills wasn't targeting one of his receivers, he was handing off to Fiechter, who racked up 153 rushing yards on a career-high 30 carries.  The performance pushed his career rushing total to 2131, good for 10th in the UIndy annals.

Senior linebacker Max Davis finished with a team-high 10 tackles, while Mike Phiilips, Vince Maida and Blake Surface combined for two sacks.

UIndy looks for win No. 6 when it travels to Owensboro, Ky., next week to face Kentucky Wesleyan.  Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Eastern.
