The Greyhounds trailed early in the first set, 6-4, but came back with a 6-1 run to take the lead, 10-7, for good. The Hounds continued to pull away and took a five-point lead, 17-12, on an ace from Kim Trojan. After a couple of points by McKendree, UIndy started another run with a kill by Brown to close out the set on an 8-1 streak, 25-15.

A block by Crawford and Anglemyer put UIndy quickly up three, 4-1, to start the second set and the lead grew to four, 11-7, on another block by Brown and Julia Watkins. The Bearcats wouldn't go away and tied the score multiple times, including at 22-all. A kill by Kerrigan and solo block by Binkerd put UIndy at set point and they capitalized two points later on Anglemyer's cross court blast, 25-23.

The Bearcats staked themselves to a three-point lead, 6-3, to open the third set, but then UIndy took over. The Greyhounds went on a 14-5 run to lead by six, 17-11, after three consecutive kills by Brown. McKendree didn't get any closer than that and appropriately the match ended with a senior, Crawford, hammering home a right side kill, 25-18.

The Greyhounds will stay in Indianapolis for the GLVC Championship Tournament starting next Friday at the Indy South Sports Academy.
