INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 15 UIndy volleyball team will play its final regular season home matches this weekend at Ruth Lilly Center against Bellarmine on Friday at 7 p.m. and Bellarmine on Saturday at 2 p.m. for Senior Day.

The Greyhounds (25-5, 14-2 GLVC) still have a lot to play for as they need to sweep both matches this weekend to claim sole possession of their second consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division championship.

UIndy is also the top team in the NCAA Midwest Region rankings, but need to continue to win to hold their position and earn the right to host the NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional at Ruth Lilly Center.

Saturday will see UIndy volleyball honor the contributions of its three seniors prior to the start of the match. Going into this weekend, the trio of Kourtney Crawford, Amy Oldenburg and Kristina Kerrigan have led UIndy to an overall record of 114-24 (.826), including 53-9 (.855) in the GLVC. They've helped the Greyhounds to the 2009 and 2011 GLVC championships, two trips to the NCAA Midwest Regional championship match and the 2009 Elite Eight.

Crawford has played in 371 sets in 120 career matches on the way to 710 kills on a .231 attack percentage, 218 blocks, 177 digs and 136 assists. A 2009 All-GLVC Third Team selection, Crawford is 14th in school history with 203 career block assists.

Oldenburg has appeared in 500 sets in 138 matches played on the way to ranking third in school history with 1,603 career digs. Her 527 digs last season is sixth in a single season for the Greyhounds and she is poised to surpass that this season with 526 digs entering this weekend.

Kerrigan started her career as the GLVC Freshman of the Year in 2009 and has put her name into the conversation to conclude her career as GLVC Player of the Year in 2012. A 2011 AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, Kerrigan is second at UIndy with 1,743 career kills and 1,883 career points. Over the last two seasons, Kerrigan has also become an important defensive player and ranks 15th in school history with 865 career digs, in addition to 195 blocks.

Friday's match against Bellarmine (16-7, 11-5 GLVC) has NCAA Tournament implications for both teams. The Knights are ninth in the region rankings and looking for one more marquee win to move into the top eight that will make the 64-team tournament, while UIndy will strengthen its resume with another win against a regionally-ranked foe.

The Greyhounds and Knights are the top two overall offensive teams in the GLVC with a .250 and .238 attack percentage, respectively. Bellarmine is led by Alyson Harmeling with 3.84 kills/set (4th GLVC) and Paula Byrns with 3.31 kills/set (8th GLVC), while Jaclyn Ohlmann is first in the league with 5.51 digs per set.

The Bearcats (14-15, 8-8 GLVC) have had a competitive first season in the GLVC and pushed UIndy to four sets in Lebanon, Ill., on Sept. 21. Saturday will be their final match of the season.
