Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The 25th-ranked UIndy volleyball squad defeated Illinois Springfield in straight sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-20), marking the seventh straight victory for the Greyhounds.

UIndy (11-5, 7-1 GLVC) hasn't lost since September 21st in its opening conference match against Missouri S&T, and has won five straight set matches this season.

Illinois Springfield fell to 4-11 (2-6 GLVC) on the season.

Meghan Binkerd paced the Hounds with 29 assists, four kills and six digs. Hailey Brown hit .312 and finished with eight kills, while Becca Lira and Julia Watkins each pitched in six kills. Payton Schultz hit .455 behind five kills.

Alyssa Garrett recorded 10 digs, while Kenzie Bruggeman and Jasmine Obren finished with eight each.

The Hounds return to GLVC action Saturday against McKendree.
