INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy men's soccer team won its fourth Great Lakes Valley Conference contest in a row Sunday, taking a 3-1 victory over visiting McKendree at Key Stadium.

McKendree (3-7-1; 1-7-1 GLVC) took the lead just 17 seconds into the match on Anthony Amaya's second goal of the season.

Ngwese Ebangwese notched his eighth goal of the season to tie the match at the 13-minute mark. The junior took a cross from Brett Greubel and headed the ball home just past the near post to knot the contest at 1-1.

The tie was broken with just more than 12 minutes to play in regulation, with Casey Zimmerman scoring his first career goal. Zimmerman rebounded the ball off the keeper after a Reid Strain shot and put it in to put the Greyhounds up 2-1.

Ebangwese sent in his ninth goal of the year and sixth goal in three games just more than two minutes later, on a textbook header off of a Kevin Eggert free kick into the box.

Andrew Verhonik made a pair of saves in the match after allowing the McKendree goal 17 seconds into the match. Ebangwese's six shots led the victorious UIndy offense on the day.

UIndy hosts Missouri S&T and Drury in continuing GLVC action next weekend at Key Stadium. Friday night's match with the Miners is set for 7:30.
