Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio – UIndy volleyball dropped a five set match 3-2 Tuesday at regional foe Cedarville (25-22, 21-25, 15-25, 25-17, 15-7).
For the second match in a row, the Hounds grabbed a 2-1 match lead but failed to hold on for the win. The Greyhounds hit just .114 in the final two sets, compared to .338 for the Yellow Jackets.
It was Cedarville's annual "White Out Night," and just the Jackets' (11-12, 5-1 G-MAC) second home match of the season.
Junior
Meghan Binkerd dished 52 assists for UIndy, as
Hailey Brown (17) and
Kenzie Bruggeman (16) tallied double figure kills.
Becca Lira,
Julia Watkins and
Brittany Anglemyer each hit over .300.
Freshman
Alyssa Garrett led the way defensively with 20 digs, while Binkerd, Bruggeman and Brown all recorded double digit digs.
The Greyhounds (11-7, 7-2 GLVC) return to conference action this weekend against Lewis and UW-Parkside.
