Box Score ST. LOUIS – After dropping the opening set, the UIndy volleyball team rallied to a 3-1 win over GLVC opponent Maryville (24-26, 25-13, 25-7, 25-20).
The Greyhounds (15-9, 9-3 GLVC) fell in the first set for the eleventh time in 24 matches this season. The win over Maryville (8-19, 1-11) moved UIndy to 3-2 in four-set matches.
Senior
Brittany Anglemyer played her most efficient match of the year, leading the team with 15 kills on 23 swings for a .652 attack percentage. It was her 16th match hitting over .300.
Junior setter
Meghan Binkerd totaled 33 assists, and freshman
Quin Shoultz finished with nine.
Kenzie Bruggeman recorded 13 kills and 17 digs, while
Hailey Brown finished with eight and seven. Peyton Schultz had eight kills on just 14 swings, good for a .571 attack percentage. Defensively,
Kimberly Trojan led the Hounds with 19 digs.
The Greyhounds return to action Sunday at Missouri-St. Louis (14-11, 7-5 GLVC).
