ANAHEIM, Calif. – The UIndy women's basketball team righted the offensive ship in a 87-45 victory over Montana State-Billings in its second game of the CCA Division II Tip-Off Classic.
The Greyhounds led 45-25 at the half, nearly matching their 48 total points in the loss to Emporia State Friday.
Shooting an impressive 56 percent (32 of 57) from the floor, the Hounds balanced attack saw four player score in double digits. Â

Katy McIntosh led UIndy (1-1) with 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Sophomore
Princess German made eight of her 12 shots, good for 17 points, and
Kelly Walter added 14 on 6-of-10 shooting.
Eliza Wortman totaled 10 points and seven boards.
Erin Murphy, a senior transfer, scored nine points while dishing three assists.
After scoring just four bench points Friday, the UIndy reserves managed 30 against the Yellowjackets. The Greyhounds had the advantage in second chance points (13 to two), points off turnovers (22 to eight), and points in the paint (36 to 12).
Defensively, UIndy held the Yellowjackets (0-2) to just 27 percent shooting, including only five made field goals in the second half. Bobbi Knudson, selected Preseason Player of the Year by the GNAC, made just one of her eight attempts.
The Greyhounds wrap up their West Coast trip Sunday against Pittsburg State.
